Stoney Creek Falls is a shocking waterfall just north of Cairns that flows behind a singular bridge and it so occurs that daily the Kuranda Scenic Railway travels over it. This second makes for beautiful imagery and recently I went for a stroll up there and got this video.

And in the 1980s, the inhabitants growth in southeast Queensland and the rise for public transport, particularly generated by electrical services, they were in a position – the road was reinstated. And it was from Lota to Thorneside first, then Thorneside right down to what’s today Cleveland. The line went throughout down to Cleveland and Cleveland Point.

Our Cairns rafting tours are an adrenalin rush and incredible introduction to white water rafting. These half day excursions are hosted on the Barron River, in the Barron Gorge National Park, part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage area.
The neatest thing about being in our 60’s is that our travel price range is flexible, permitting us to take pleasure in nice experiences, good meals and fun people. The Kuranda Scenic Rail departs from Freshwater Train Station in Cairns. A note to nervous flyers out there, I don’t like heights however my pre-gondola nerves quickly left me and I totally enjoyed the expertise. The transfers between the stations took place indoors, had been well-controlled and I felt completely at ease. I thought the heights would trouble me but the gondolas actually skim fairly near the tree-tops. I sat behind the gondola and Marty took photographs from the entrance and facet.
